yahoo messenger provides plugins to chat in regional languages like bengali, gujarati, hindi, marathi, tamil, telugu, malayali, kannada. there are 2 different plugins. one is Indichat and the other is chitchat. you can enable or use these plugins by clicking on the "Activities" button on the chat window and choosing the right application. see the above image you can get the idea easily.
you can also play pool, chess and many other games with your oppenants online. the thing required is java. all this game is java supported only.

Openfire is incredibly easy to setup and administer, but offers rock-solid security and performance.
As it follows the XMPP based protocols, you can use any chat client that uses the same protocol. like jabber, Spark, Pandion, etc. i use Spark as my chat client. it's working realy amazing. got great functionalities. very fancy and attactive looks. one great feature is it's screenshot capturing and sending utitlity. try it and then feel how wonderfull it is.
