it's unlike the session manager add-on of firefox that automatically saves the currently opened tabs. you have to manually save the sessions by clicking on Tools -> IEsessions.

but the new and advanced feature i like is, if you are doing long research on any machine and suddenly you have to change your terminal or any how have to move somewhere else and change your location, then you can save all opened tabs and windows in a session manager to a file. copy the file in your memory drive or just save it on your online documents or on email account and then after you can access all those saved pages anywhere you want with less efforts.

There is another add-on available called IE Session Manager, available at http://www.electricbrainproductions.com/ie-session-manager.
One thing I don't like about IESessions is that it doesn't preserve the instances - when IESessions loads a session set every URL is opened in a single instance (if one originally had saved the URLs from five instances, when loaded back up the URLs are all crammed into one instance).
Also, IE Session Manager allows you to pick and choose which URLs are saved and which ones are loaded, where as with IESessions it's all or nothing.
this software is buggy, got errors code when I want to save a session! (tested on two computers with browsers IE7/IE8)
well it's microsoft's own addon. so only we can do is to send report of the bug on their site.
